Message:
Just got a letter from Brighton Council about the Wild Park DH.
They are still deciding whether to pull it down or, shock horror, authorise the track.
I'm arranging a meeting with the council and have offered a tour of the site.
The current problem is that no bikers have contacted the council, but this charming piece of work has:
http://archive.theargus.co.uk/2005/12/27/206468.html
And is getting everyone she sees to call up and cause trouble. She has also been vandalising the landings and jumps (again).
This was my response to the Argus article that the council saw:

Be really helpful if you could spare a couple of minutes to email Pat Foster at the council in support of making the dh official:
pat.foster@brighton-hove.gov.uk
and bcc me at: wildparkdh@googlemail.com so that I have it on record.
Plenty of room for walkers and all riders whether xc, dh or whatever at wild park.
This is a real chance to make a difference and do something constructive.
Please feel free to forward this on.
Thanks..
