Dave A - How far in were you, before you were sure you could finish? At Truleigh Hill (160m) I hit the wall. From this point I just set very small milestones with the aim to finish, and assumed that a sub 24 hour time was out of the window. It wasn't until Jevington (196m) at 23:10 hours in, that I realised a sub 24 hour time was possible. My spirits lifted and I don't remember seeing the golf course just before the final descent. The feeling at the end knowing I had clinched a sub 24 hour time was simply fantastic! Richard |
