Commencal already make some sorted bikes with specs that balance price, weight and performance nicely, but the French brand has realised that many people enjoy building up their own bikes from scratch to their personal tastes.
So for 2010 Commencal has unleashed Factory Framesets, which allows you to buy a frame and fork package and then choose which bits you hang of it. Choose from the Meta 6, Meta 55, Super 4, Supreme or Supreme DH, each factory fitted with matching shock, forks, handlebars, stem and seatpost (matched to the size) and it’s then down to you which groupset, brakes, wheels and tyres you specify.
