Magura releases new hydration systems

Well, kind of. OK, they're a beer glass and a coffee mug

Insert own "tea brake" joke here

Magura is well known for its brakes and suspension components, but thus far it hasn't done much in the hydration system market. And even now we'd have to stretch the usual definition of "hydration system" to allow for the latest brace of Magura products...

First up is the rather fine Wotansbräu beer glass. It's optimised for the consumption of German weizen (wheat) beer, which is fine by us. But according to Magura it "Conforms to IS and therefore compatible with lager, ales and other non-German beverages".

If your beverage tastes lean towards the hot, there's also a Magura mug. It's pitched as a coffee mug, but clearly there's no reason why it couldn't be used for proper hot drinks like tea. Both of these drinking vessels are fully ambidextrous and easily swapped around for right- or left-handed drinkers.

Due to a reassuringly straightforward pricing policy, the glass and mug are each £7 from Magura dealers or direct from www.magura.com.
