Switched-on bike shops turn to aggregated demo days

Demo frenzy at Bike Bristol

With the ever-increasing complexity of bikes and equipment, the buying public is quite rightly demanding a decent go with new stuff before splashing the cash. A number of distributors have fleets of demo bikes with which to run demo days at dealers, and to make the most of it shops are starting to combine demo days across manufacturers.

Take, for example, Bike Bristol's recent demo day. They had bikes from Marin and Whyte, forks from Fox, lights from Lupine and clothing from Freestyle. So riders could show up, get on a bike, stick a light on the front, wrap up warm and dry and go and see how it all performs. Splendid.

Keep an eye out for more demo days coming up at a bike shop near you - we'll try to keep you posted with details.
