In short: 75 k event should be reported to trading standards! In full: Hmm, well with the 75km event coming in at 84 km you certainly got some extra pain near the end. Perhaps somebody could actually measure it next time. Over 10% out is not something to keep secret before the start. Boggy trails in the woods were not my idea of fun, especially as I hit it just when the leading 100 km riders also reached it. This meant lots of seriously competitive people trying to pass at a very tricky point of the course. Overall I dont think the course was an improvement on last year.
Views were great and the organisation was good and overall I would probably do it again, but I think a few leasons need to be learned. Date of review: July 4, 2005
