In short: What happens next?
In full: OK, so I know most would have liked more technical and everyone could have done without 3 miles of corrugated to grate their butts on, but from a soloists point of view it was a fine course - i.e. not so knackering that you couldn't ride all 24 hrs.
Only gripe - by the time I had collected my thoughts post race, the showers had run out of water, the massage tent had gone and the cafe was running out of grub. For 24 gruelling hours the anticipation of those three things had kept me alive. Maybe an earlier start / fin (say 10-10) would allow more of a post race chill?
