In short: Not terrible course but pretty dull; good atmosphere
In full: While it still had a superb atmosphere, it felt smaller this year. Less people(because of bank holiday and doubts about course) and seemingly less stands etc. The course was good once the race got started but to ride outside of a race it's pretty dull(wasn't looking forward to it after a practice lap on Friday). Looks like they did the best they could though in an area not really made for MTBing!
It'll hopefully be back to its best next year, either at Trentham or somewhere even better(Margam would be good, fields for camping, hills for riding).
