what size? And what spec on your bike (given you appear to have cut and paste the description from norco website, as your pic quite clearly shows a Marz fork not the rockshox you describe...) |

400 quid for a pair of forks and they give you a whole TWO circlips free? Excuse me if I dont crack out the bubbly...
Agree with Andy D, I rebuilt a fork with O rings from the local hardware store. Also replaced every bolt with stainless steel thanks to my workshop stores ;-) |

Some of us buy Ti for a variety of reasons, however the Avid Speed Dial Tis are a bit of a swizz as the only Ti bits are the bolts...
to Eion and Chico, yes Ti stretches more than steel for a given load/stress, which is why Salsa call their steel front Q/R suspension specific. Ive seen the conquences of a ti front skewer and a disc brake and its not nice (brake forces bend forks and stretch skewer, this allows the bolt to unwind when the stress is relieved. Upshot is a mate jumped a bit of trail and his front wheel fell out, with big face brake finale. He'd checked the Q/R tension before the ride and it was fine).
Pretty much all my hardtail is Ti (frame, stem, post, bars, bar ends etc), but I use steel Q/Rs... |
