Grease all of the contacts, bars to stem, stem to steerer, and headset.

Also the headset shouldnt be over tightened.

4 years sounds right, my E4's havent been blead for 2 years n they feel just as good as they were when i got em.

A bleed wont harm them though. Bleeding them good and properly should sort them out for the rest of their life really...

Mal, best of luck finding your v-brake pivots. Took me 6 bike shops in birmingham to get some and they where just lying in a workshop. Nowhere stocks them as simply, noone actually needs to buy them.

Since that, i'm never taking my pivots off, so i don't have the trouble of finding some again

I've noticed on my Psylo XC forks that there are cracks in the rubber. Is it time to replace these seals?

How much would new seals (at RRP, buying from LBS not online) set me back?
