You can get motorbike fork oil without swelling agents though. Double-check the packaging - or speak to WindWave or UKBikeStore who are support-Gods when it comes to the big-M

Yes - after removing the black cap and letting the air out, remove the silver top cap with a spark plug socket.

Yep - you need a lot more than just a syringeful. I think it's there for those who don't have a grease gun.
