| I'd avoid chieftains cos they're way too heavy. The saint cranks look ok and you will have to buy a BB with them, but they're stronger than the Truvativs. Hayes HFX9s are decent enough brakes, as are hope 4pots, that's a personal choice thing (I ride hayes) |

| Make sure that the spacers aren't touching the BB cups. There should be a slight gap between the BB cup and the big flat alloy spacer thingy when everything is tightened down. And try to make sure you have the same amount of axle in each of the cranks too. |
