Oh dear here we go with the SRAM vs shimano debate again..
Take a look at Shimano Tourney and you'll see where "shadow" originated.
If you look back even further you will see that the Shadow was around before SRAM ESP 1:1
So who is the copycat |

seems the best bet would be to move out of the uk then. Weather will certianly improve.
I've not needed much service from Lupine de in the last 3 yrs I"ve owned my light but what I have had is brilliant service. My bulb was starting to get old, hard to get it started ec (it's used 2-3 times a week). sent it to Germany and had it back within 3weeks
And I'm in the southern hemisphere |

I'm yet to ride a 6" travel trail bike thats been a joy to pedal up hills. all have been hard work due to weight more than lack of traction.
Although I found the Reign to be an excellent performer for what it is and the Nomad is awesome too (if it fit you and you think the price tag is value), I just can;t see the point of anything with more than 4" or thereabouts.
Anything more and the machines start to make you feel like you're on the bikes rather than part of it. |

3 rides on a XTR middle ring in the Peak district....
What are you doing using the middle ring only anyways, the Peaks should be ridden big ring only.
I'm onto my third set of Chanrings for my XTR chainset. 3 yrs, 12000miles thats about 5000mile per ring set and the Middleburn CR99 are now into about 2000miles and not holding up as well as the OEM rings. I doubt I'll get another 1000 out of them.
And BB bearings/ QUE??? I'm still running the original outboard bearings units and they're fine. I have opened them up and regreased once and that was about a year ago.
The New Chainset does not look as pretty as the M960, but it'll find a home on my Rush in december :) |
