If you can't find any tube to match the outer diameter of the bearing, use a car wheel spider. Use the width that is just smaller than the OD. Its not the prettiest way of doing the job but it got mine done damage free

sorry to sound like a dumbass, but I am also having problems with play in my 4 month old stout hub. How do you even get the end caps off? I had a quick look and they don't seem to be threaded.
