That has to be the most beautiful seatpost I've seen. I love the look of brushed metal and titanium is my favourite. If I was obscenely rich I'd have a brushed titanium frame.
Secondly, this company appear to fit them using cateye seatpost mounts to attach to the fork legs.
I think given that most of my riding is on wet rather than forest or mud tracks it's probably sensible to fit them, I can always remove them before going on any tracks I know to be bad.
I've currently got full cruds and when it rains I still have to wear full waterproofs.
I looked at the bike I'm getting - it has good rack mount points but no bridge mount for a mudguard, the fork is a RockShox Recon Solo Air. I was riding in the muddiest conditions that I would expect to find and even then I'm not sure it would have clogged.
I created a homemade light a while ago but I never really finished the battery part, currently I have a piece of pvc plumbing pipe with end caps, one cap is glued on and has two cable connectors and the switch, the other is screwed on. The system runs off 2 series AA batteries. As such I might be interested in a 2S2P battery pack to double my run time. Only thing is I want waterproof (I use it for canoeing as well). The lights are waterproof and the battery pack is almost waterproof - it leaks when 1m underwater for 30 mins but not massively. Can you think of a way to use your battery pack in a waterproof method?
Also would you be willing to share your model data? (I ask only because the company I work for is planning on buying a rapid prototype machine)
