can anyone please tell me what the hell they are actually called and where i can look to get one of those carriers that supports the bike by the bottom bracket and fork stanchions which fits in the back of your car? can't find a pic of one anywhere.

how do you end up there camping with your bikes outside the tent waiting for you to wake up? did you do it as a tour, and if so who did you book with?
