The Guide should come with the adaptor, the plate will sit behind the BB Cup, and is the same thickness as the standard black shimano spacer, not that that helps much

Edit : Oh and it works really well, hvnt had any problems in the few months that i have had it, although i have only got the STS.

 Edit 2: Look on there site they are very hlepfull, if u cant find it ring them, they were great when i had a few problems on my orange.
