I decided to give tubeless a go and am very impressed with my results, in spite of kludging a somewhat shonky ghetto tubeless conversion. I even managed to use my existing Kenda Nevegals with Slime sealant and after a week of blasting around Welsh trail centres had no punctures and only the occasional slime leakage to report. I'm so convinced about the benefits that I'll be using UST rims on my next wheelbuild. NB - it's well worth considering a DIY tubeless conversion, mine cost me £15 a fraction of the cost of Stans and Joes kits. |
