Hey fellas, it's been a long while since I've posted here. I do pop in every now and again, but since The Crash things just haven't been the same and I'm still not riding properly (cue the violins). However I feel that I have to stand up and box in the Whytes corner.
I've never ridden one of the PRSTs, but that's not what this article is talking about. The 46 and E5 are both exceptional bikes. Yes their looks might not be to everyone's taste, but they work. There are far too many bikes that have compromised their suspension performance in the name of fashion. Even with a gammy arm and an extra 1.5 stone I still out climb most at my local trails. The Maverick forks are plush too as long as your willing to hop out of ruts rather that steer out and if you're able to keep the fork oil off your front disc rotor! On that note, does anyone know if the Fox 36's make a difference to the 46 geometry?
The friendly fellas at Foel DH Riders are having a bit of an informal Boxing Day ride / race.
Things will kick off fairly early, so try and get there for about 9:30 if you want to get some practice runs in. There will probably be uplifts running from 10:00 onwards.
