I've got some weird sticking/noise from my rear Mavic SL - I just replaced the SRAM cassette as it had sheared and i thought that that was making the noise. I now think that the something wrong with the hub/freehub that made it sheer. Only happens when I'm free wheeling, and the faster the speed, the worse it is.
I need to dimantle/clean/service/inspect etc - do i need a special tool for getting into these wheels please?
or any advice about this problem as i've seen similar on a couple of other forums
For me training never seems to be enough. I can do 35 miles plus in Peak (my local), be on my bike for 6 hours odd and not feel too bad when I get back, but whenever I do Meridas I just dont seem to be prepared for the climbs!
Do they just pick the biggest in the country?
I dont really have any GPS gadgets, perhaps I should be concentrating on teh amount of ascent rather than the distance.
oh drat! cheers anyway - i think it was your name that was mentioned actually. Well if anyone fancies accompanying you please post and i'll give details through Ros. i'll post it on mtb meanwhile.
