Its a buzzard. It is a big bird with a 4 foot wingspan, and it is obviously nesting in those woods around Yair. It attacked us last weekend, luckily I was at the end of the line of riders and the have-a-go-hawk attacked the first rider! Will be interesting to see if it attacks several hundred riders on Merida day!! |

58 minutes for me the other day, giving a time for the whole route of 1hr55m. I reckon the singletrack climb, which has been open for about 6 months, adds 5 minutes or so to the time. Its far better than the old fireroad option, though. |

I have already many people have come out criticising Hamilton for being a champ. So what if hes arrogant and cocky - that shows he is single minded and confident in his abilities. The fact that he takes chances and is exciting to watch means Formula 1 is again exciting to a british audience. I think its good to see his dad and his kid brother supporting him in the pits, Lewis wouldnt have made it without his dads support. It never ceases to amaze me how animosity towards a successful person develops. Good luck to the lad, I hope he has many more years of success. |

I have been offered a place in team, but declined with thanks. I accept a bit of rain, wind and mud in mountain biking, but the 'Puffer is reputed to be brutallly cold, with much of the course iced over every year! Not for me, but good luck to anyone who has a go. |

Yep, second the Reba, especially if you are not racing. The Sid is a lighter, more racy fork. Go for that if you want a lightweight fork. I have had my Rebas for close to 2 years without service, doing countless miles, 5 Merida 100k's, 3 10-under events and quite a bit of xc racing, not to mention social and training rides. Its still going strong. My previous Fox F80 lasted about 18 months. |
