I don't own a track bike

And the hire one I'm using is a size too small. Still, all in a good cause.

We've done our team's first one-hour stint, 24.5 miles added to the total. Overall the participants are currently 10 miles up on the 560 mile target, so it's looking good...

CX bike = weapon of choice. Singlespeed = not so much. There's usually quite a lot of flattish stuff that you'll suffer DEATH BY SPINNING along.
