If you couldn't see the difference betwen a Heckler and a 5, it doesn't matter what bike you get. They'll all feel the same to you, so just buy the one you like the look of most.

The Cane creek and FSA ZS headsets are all made by TH Industries.(and i think they make WTB's also)

So any of their ZS headsets should fit.

If you've got to the point where you need to rebuild it, it'll never work as well you'd like it to ever again.

My experience comes from trying to extend the life of shifters on a fleet of demo bikes.

I've tried every lube I can get a hold of to overcome the friction between the sliding plates in the ratchet mechanism, but once the low friction coating has worn off, they don't last more than a couple of weeks before you need to rebuild them.

It's time for a new shifter. And if you want it to last, make it a Shimano one. (and the cost of the mech will be chaper than the cost of more Sram shifters in the long run.)

That's the Marzocchi standard procedure for that kind of fork. It's in the manual and tech docs.

Buy a Goodridge Shimano M525 or Magura HS33 (same kit) and it'll do the job. (fitting braided hoses wil invalidate your warranty)

Or get your friendly neighborhood LBS to make up a kit for you.

If they can't, find a better LBS.

Or get some Avid olives and inserts, and use the old connectors.
