You'll not be guaranteed warm weather in Southern Spain in Nov - Feb, sure you may be lucky and have a great conditions, instead somewhere like Morocco\Canary Islands would be better. Probably be able to get an organized trip there, though that's not my cup of tea. |

| Sorry I can't advise re: Geneva airport, but if you heading to Grindlewald and the Eiger, make sure you go via Lauterbrunnen and the pass over the Kleine Scheidegg, as the views on the ride up to and over the latter of Jungfrau and the Eiger are amazing. |

I'd second Fraser, I use a ping of the bell to warn from a distance, then offer thanks as I pass. I admit there are the odd ocassions when some wouldn't even hear a car horn though! |

Sure you can bike down the old collapsed road below Mam Tor, there's just a section with a bit of a drop off but it's certainly rideable up or down. Years since I've been down the caverns though. Bike Parking? I guess there's a fence where you could chain 'em to.
Sorry, I just noticed you posted this on the road forum. You could still take the short cut down the old road, but might want to dismount drop off. |
