Running will give you the most improvement for time invested but obviously is a lot harder work than cycling.

What's your outward route ? You could go via Congleton, Leek and Ashbourne. |

I heard that someone had bought a scandium / carbon monstay bike from them and it starting creaking a few months after. They contacted the shop but they weren't interested.
You might want to consider Deeside who do a similar service and have an excellent reputation. I don't know how their frames compare though.
Having said that both of these companies can build a bike up using your own frame so it might be worth spending a bit more and getting a well known frame and using that instead. |

Please forgive me ignorant newbie question but does the framesize calculation apply to compact or semi-compact geometries ?
I have a similar build (6'4" and 35" inside leg) but the bikes that I've been considering are an Orbea Aspin (max size 60cm) or a Dawes Giro 400 (max size 61cm). |
