My NRS XTC TEAM FRAME IS NOW DEAD! LONG LIVE THE FULL BEARING 05 VERSION GIANT ARE REPLACING IT WITH NEXT WEEK. WARRANTY IS SECOND TO NONE SHAME ABOUT THE BIKE, HOPEFULLY THE 05 MODEL SURVIVES MY XC RIDING ON THE QUANTOCKS. I ONLY DREAM AT THE MOMENT TO HAVING A TURNER FRAME. |

To "two dents", i have a nrs team frame with a Giant rear shock replaced as warranty item and it has made the bike even better. rear triangle also replaced and it has eaten three full bearing/bushing sets. The only frame worthy of spending your money on is the Turner FAUX frame. Designed and manufactured by BRITISH engineer with British riding conditions taken into consideration. Bearings aren't designed to move the small amount they do on mtb's, at least you know that fresh grease can be fed before each ride therefore improving reliability of the frame. |

| As per PODGE,friend and myself regularly ride xc only around the Quantocks on Giant nrs xtc team 04 framesets and so far I've had new rear triangle and rear shock replaced. Mate has had complete frame/shock replaced. Oh, and the bushings last six months only if your lucky to have it dry. Otherwise a great bike, warranty from Giant has been good. |

Kings Head in Cannington and the Malt shovel which is just off the A39 Cannington by-pass serves good food. The Aisholt climb is 300m in a short distance and is a nice warm up prior to riding out from lydeard c/p for a total ride of 25-35 mile ride depending on the route.Your welcome anytime to try a ride with local knowledge. Hawkridge reservoir is easy to find, as you travel through Bridgwater at the crossroads with traffic lights your see FORD dealer in front on right turn immediately left into WEST STREET follow this road through village of SPAXTON (4MILES)keep going uphill and reservoir is eventually on right. A good ice cream stop in summer on way home after a good ride. From here are two god routes onto the Quantocks being Aisholt hill or Ruborough hill. |
