i always hated the things but got new bike with them on so dicided to see if i could get on with them and i found them amazing. So far the have stoped me from crashing 2 times and not caused me to crash yet. The power on climbing is amazing and the extra controle all round is great. Once they have worn in cliping in and out is just as natural as taking your foot off the pedal. All i am trying to work out now is why i didn't do this earlyer.

i bought a '03 gemini 1000 two weeks ago with martas on it. i can say the power is plenty enough for a 13.5 stone man on a 29 pound bike, i tested the at the ridgeway in reading yesteday and they perfonmed well. no real noise from them but i can only vouch for there inital performance.

I was thinking of getting one of those but went for a last years C'dale gemini 1000, quite similar ride but it seems to have the wrong number of legs on the fork, aparently there was a batch like that. Plus i got mine on the day of buying it.

i have heard if you put zip ties round you break leavers and bar so the brake is held on then leave it over night that this is a quick way of bleeding a system. Is this true? Anyone tryed it?
