Post on the Turner news group on www.mtbr.com. I sold my Ti spring on there and there may well be other Turner owners looking to shift theirs.

You lucky man there's lots of classic stuff round Llangollen, Clwyds, Berwyns etc. I've just moved from Chester to the less than challenging MTB wastes of Wiltshire and used to ride round Llan a fair bit. There's a regular Thursday evening ride starting from Llangollen Youth Club car park see www.sheepshitt.com. Also go to www.mtbwales.co.uk . They're a friendly bunch on there and you'll have no problem finding rides and riding buddies. Try www.flattyresmtbroutes.com for route details.

I've just moved down to near Marlborough and am looking for other riders to hook up with. I'd be interested in the club/collective idea. Why not try to start something with a local bike shop like Red Planet in Swindon? They also do regular Tuesday evening rides which I intend to take part in as soon as they get my front suspension mended and I buy a decent light. I'd also be up for trips to Wales as to be honest the riding in Wilts isn't that exciting compared to my old haunts in North Wales.

I'm afraid its your problem Lobster. I had the same thing happen to me. Sold a porcelain figure on ebay and sent it special delivery. It was broken on arrival. I then gave the purchaser their money back, got them to send the item back with its original packaging and but in a claim to Royal Mail. Result was Royal Mail paid up £80 which was the valuation I got despite selling the item for around £40.

Endura MT500 long sleeve. I also use a Mountain Equipment light fleece lined pertex pullover with a thermal layer under it for windier/colder days.
