My turbines looked... well, err, a bit shabby. Untill this weekend when I bent one on a rock.
Now they look like a pair of useless cranks.

| If you have a look in Jobst Brant's book on wheelbuilding he describes exactly what happened to your front wheel. He says it's caused by overtensioning of the spokes during building... maybe you need to calm down a bit with your spoke key. |

I though Hope OEM pads were Galfer now (they used to be EBC).
I expect i'm wrong though. |

Golds can lead to some heat problems using C2's (or other similar). I use the Hope/Galfer pads (organic) which are a good compromise between wear rate, power and heat transmission.
Obviously they don't last as long or work as well in the wet as sintered pads (EBC Gold) though. |
