Wierd there must be a rogue batch of supermaket basil doing the rounds at the moment, ours was bought reduced from waitrose a few months ago and is not only still going strong but has also flowered!

Now if only the chillis and tomatos would get off their arse and ripen I'd have a lovely lunch ready!!!

Who knew life could be so rock 'n'roll !!!

Many many many (about 1990!) I did my D. of E. on the Isle of Skye, from what I remember there were a fairly good campsites at sligahan, Broadford and Glenbrittle. I would also warn two things......

1. it rains... a lot... but it keeps the midges away!

2. OS maps lie. A bridge marked on our map (brand new edition that year) had been washed away 10 years before, Oh how we laughed at the minor 10 mile detour on foot!!

Apart from that great place an really keep planning on going back.

Nope Ester Rantzen is standing for Luton South (?) on the grounds that she has a house in Southampton and so does the Labour bint currently lining her pockets in the post.

Utter cobblers but it stops Look East bleating on about the demise of the Norfolk Winkle crop.

Most of this is mentioned above but these are probably the most used things for fixing bikes....

A really good solid stable workstand.

A set of ball-end allen keys (I think mine go from 2mm to 10 mm not all see use though)

a big adjustable spanner

few normal spanners 8, 10, 12 and 14mm (I think)

Chain whip

BB tool

Crankset removing tool

chainring spanner

As for instructions the Park website is pretty good, also for simple stuff the Haynes manual  is pretty useful.

Doesn't the car also have to be quite old? I can't see many people driving a 10+ yr old car suddenly deciding to buy a shiny new motor.
