Hi All. 3 of my 4 sets of wheels now run tubeless.

Obviously I prefer them but not for the extra performance or comfort (Which I cannot really feel). I just find them a more reliable trail option. No thorn punctures or pinch flats.

I am curious what tyres everyone else runs as I personally run allrounders & consider tubeless as a more "Fit until they wear out" option.

At the moment Nobby Nics (bit delicate), Fire XC pro's (not bad) and Mitchelin Hot S 2.2's (great dry to damp allround tyre) adorn my 819's and DT5.2's but also have some Michelin light s' around which are reasonably good.

You guys have been busy. 819s are a bit dear but will give me the UST option although they are a bit heavier than quoted due to the screw in spoke holders. I think approx 20mm should do fine. Still deciding.

Hi All. I find some of my fav treads seem to flex/tuck under too much on my Mavic 717s. I want some wider rims but don't want to add too much weight.
I was looking at building Pro 2's into the new DT Enduros rims but if anyone has a better idea let me know.
I ride Trail, weekenders and XC but want to still be able to ride the odd 2 - 3 foot drop off. I weigh 13.5 stone.

Got mine from action sports a few weeks ago after being impressed by the R Ralphs. 2.24 UST's plus 2.1 normals for the race bike. Must admit that the UST's were a bit dissapointing in the muddy and flinty stuff here but felt good on the drier bits, roots and slabby stuff. The 2.24 also comes up pretty big IMHO. Bigger than a Vert 2.3 for example.
