'GREAT BIKE FOR NEARLY ALL TYPES OF RIDING'
Strengths:
Suspension adjustability, superb quality frame, plush ride, stiff as a very stiff thing.
Weaknesses:
Cable guides are rubbish (zip ties are needed). No bottle mounts (I need one for my batteries). Price! (but you get what you pay for)
Overall:
I've only had this bike (standard build) for a week and a bit so might submit another review in the long term.

My initial rides have been on holiday in N.Devon (including some good rocky descents, steep road climbs and singletrack) and locally in the East Midlands.

Cannondale sell this bike under the dreaded "Freeride" title. Forget that - as a general trail bike this kicks bottom. So far I'm really enjoying it.

The suspension soaks up big and small hits. The strange looking bars can be adjusted to resemble the feel of virtually any normal bar. The bike climbs very well and being able to lock out both ends makes road climbs a lot easier.

The cockpit is a bit short but with adjustment to the seat and bars now feels ok. I'll see how it goes - maybe a layback seatpost will be needed.

Everything else - gears, brakes etc have all been spot on straight out of the box.

'SOLID BIT OF TECH'
Strengths:
Clear display with plenty of contrast. Easy to fit. Solid quality feel to everything. All the features you need and some spare. Easy to operate on the move - big enough buttons for when you've got gloves on.

Has endured typical British weather for over a year with no problems. Has never stopped working on a ride unlike nearly all the other computers my mates have.
Weaknesses:
Wheel size setting - I measured my wheel, set up and off I went. However I always seemed to underclock distances (12% or so).

I had to ride a measured mile work out what percentage I was out and adjust the wheel size accordingly. It is now set to much larger than the circumference of my wheel but gives consistent and accurate readings.

I've not tried setting it using km tho and it is a European unit?

Managed to break a spoke magnet rather easily by tightening up a bit too much.
Overall:
Once I'd sorted the maths to get the right readings this has been a reliable solid computer.
