Strengths: Adjustability Loads of modulation powerful as my e4 was (really) Nothing ever goes wrong, unlike the open system hopes. Pads last a lifetime The rotor is notably stronger than other hopes. Seems to be quieter than e4s Look pimp too.
Weaknesses: "pump up", but has never occurred on mine.
Overall: The Kippers tits. Much more reliable than other discs, and are the best all round brake I've ever used.
'THIS IS NOT ABOUT MONEY.....THIS IS ABOUT POWER!!'
Strengths: loads of power and modulation looks sweet great lever shape quick bed-in time
Weaknesses: mine seem to create a fair bit of drag, but i hope that clears up in time quality control maybe?
Overall: i only mentioned quality control because my original disc leaked very bad at the caliper, and i was not happy. but now the new un is fitted, they work like a dream 5/5
Strengths: biiiiiiiiig solid to puncture from bike to motocrosser for a few quid
Weaknesses: tyre clearance problems on most frames if you use maguras, you will most likely have to file off the end bits so that they dont rub on the tyre
Strengths: strong essentially same frame as 99 chute disc hubs
Weaknesses: that awful fork
Overall: a great riding bike but why do kona keep supplying their bikes with such an underperforming fork??? even a judy tt would have performed better
Weaknesses: develops play far too quickly usual RS reliability issues
Overall: thought i dont own a set of these, i have found that (like many other testers)they have poor bushings i suggest that u should wait for the 2002 versions (improved bushings)or buya set of wonderful, lovely, superb, stupendous Z1's
Strengths: dead plush look good no noticable flex reliable
Weaknesses: take a while to bed in bring back the BAM cnc'd arch cos the new arch looks poo not that cheap
Overall: though i dont own a set of these, ive tested em out at a lbs,and they were rather good bring back the Z1 BAM,cos they were mint, especially in orange
