VDO Cytec C2 DS Digital Cordless Computer

'MUCH BETTER THAN THE OLD ANALOGUE C10 '
Strengths:
Easy to sync.
A range of 2m overcomes the analogues weakness of being a bit flakey on long forks.
Stem mount to keep the bars free for bell, horn, basket and lights!
Upgradable with an additional cadance transmitter.
Weaknesses:
Menu navigation is a bit difficult with gloves on (up and down buttons).
Anti spike feature that stops spurious indications may be stopping me from getting an acurate top speed.
That twist mount (I shredded the one on my old system getting the computer out).
Overall:
A nice package. I've always liked VDO kit. The old computer really pissed me off with it's strange readings and it's tempramental atitude. It's now consigned to my nippers bike.

This is much more reliable. The stem mount is a nice touch. The anti spike software is my only concern. Took it down a hill I've always done over 30mph on and only managed 27. It's either wrong or I've always been a slug!

Ordered one about 6 months ago from Wiggle and they never got them in. Ordered locally 5 weeks ago and it took a week to come in. LBS 1 - 0 Wiggle.

'NIIIIIIIIIICE!'
Strengths:
Lite and it works.
Weaknesses:
None as yet. No travel indicating O-ring supplied.
Overall:
Put this baby on a 03 Sugar 2+. Was a bit worried that I was throwing the money at the bike but after riding it for a couple of months I am very impressed. I'm 13 1/2 stone and have 140psi in it and have it on PP+ for most of the trail riding and jaunts on the South Downs.

I see that Mojo now offer a pro-pedal upgrade to some Fox Shox. I could have got my old unit PP'd for 90 odd quid.

'IT'S LIKE BEING REPEATEDLY KICKED IN THE SLATS!'
Strengths:
V Lite @ 140g. Good range of fore and aft movement.
Weaknesses:
No rails means no flex. No flex means any bump you go over is instantly translated into soft tissue bruising.
Overall:
1st ride over the downs. Gentle ups and downs. Double track. A bit sore as you'd expect from a new saddle. 2 days later, next ride didn't take me as long to feel as sore again. 3rd ride in a race. Loads of whoops loads of pain to the lower back and perineum. And that was on a full sus.

The reliability score is gonna be high coz I can't see this breaking on the shelf in my shed unless it falls off.
