Overall: Two of the lenses are flood & the center one a spot which gives a reasonable spread of light. Ideally it needs to be paired with a helmet light for fast or tricky stuff but as a stand alone unit does OK. If you run it in conjunction with a helmet light then choose one with a similar colour temperature. If you run it with a halogen light then the latter seems yellow in comparison & the two beams do not merge well making contrast difficult. The tripleshot was designed as part of a race combo with the doubleshot which has two spot lenses. Together they are a good combination & can be picked up at less than 100 notes apiece circa Sept 2007
