Strengths: None,only the ones it had in the early 90's when it was a proper bike magazine and it was worth reading.
Weaknesses: Letting the kids take over and turn it into a jump mag.Ugly Doddy.He must be the ugliest rider I've ever seen.
Overall: Its a shame to see what was once a good magazine decay into the useless dross its now become.I'd have serious doubts about it being good enough to wipe my backside,let alone read it.I hope the publishers read these reviews and do something about it.
Strengths: Precise shifting especially for the front mech,no chain rub like you get with the latest underbar indexed types.
Weaknesses: Absolutely none!
Overall: If I can fix the thread on the front shifter its going back into action on my Giant hardtail and sack the XT front shifter.Ace bits of kit,why did they stop making them?
Strengths: Stealth looks,lightweight,tech composite rear end soaks up the buzz from the trail and power transmission is there when you have to step on the gas.
Weaknesses: Cant find any really but everyones heard the stories of carbon in crashes and when it decides to 'go'.But its like that with alu frames,have a good crash and its a write-off.
Strengths: On the ball with new kit and rides to do.Good photography.
Weaknesses: Price,sometimes the content is a bit hollow,reviews don't always make sense,reviews not always deep enough.Not enough coverage of MTB events like SITS,SSMM or DYFI Enduro.
Strengths: Efficient suspension,no bob,climbs great,handling is spot on,looks ace.
Weaknesses: Horst link needs an eye kept on it,clean out regularly to stop premature wear caused by grit getting in.
Overall: Pleased with it especially the way the rear suspension works,no bob and the climbing ability.Done a few 24hr races and not been too battered as a result of riding this bike.
