Strengths: Bottles come in nice designs the kids might like
Weaknesses: Plastic cage not strong enough to hold the bottle when full of drink. Go over a small pebble and the bottle falls onto the road. Cage also doesn't attach securely to frame and spins round.
Overall: Very poor flimsy designed cage. Tie a bottle of juice to the frame with some string instead - it'll be far more secure than this!
Strengths: These actually work! Used to have problems with numbness and tingling in arms and hands after rides. With these I have done 5-6 hour rides with no problems at all. Also very comfy.
Weaknesses: Have frayed slightly round fingers but easily fixed with a quick snip from a pair of scissors
Overall: Very comfortable, hard wearing gloves. Can stick them in the washing machine and they come out as good as new. I liked them so much I bought 2 more pairs
Strengths: Waterproof, pretty resistant to scrapes and scuffs
Weaknesses: Can be too warm sometimes
Overall: A great winter boot that will withstand almost anything (as long as you don't end up in water/ mud deeper than the top of the boot!). Can be too warm in late spring/ early winter. Make sure your socks are higher than the top of the boot to prevent neoprene chaffing legs
Strengths: Very comfortable, buckle is easily adjusted even when on bike. Uppers very resistant to scratches, dirt, etc.(just give them a wipe with a damp cloth occasionally to keep them looking good). Heel is replacable
Weaknesses: Sole scratches easily (although you hopefully won't be doing much walking in them!). Had some problems with cleat fixing bolts working loose (you need to get them VERY tight)
Overall: Lovely shoes although not cheap. Tend to be made a little on the small size (you may need a size larger than you normally take)
