| 'Very versatile' |
 |
Strengths: This frame has proved extremely versatile. I used it for 3 weeks guiding in the Alps in the summer with a wide range of groups. With the saddle down the bike is capable of keeping up with all but the fastest DH riders and with it up it will happily peadal uphil for hours on end. In the UK i have fitted a longer stem and narrower tyres and have used the bike for long XC loops fast club rides and even a bit of dirt jumping. |

Weaknesses: There is no getting around the weight (36lbs ish) on long climbs but it is manageable. BB is a bit low somtimes for forest single track and i have even grounded out the pedals on the road before. Shock posistion is directly in line with mud. I choose the RP3 shock and on longer DH runs in France you can definately feel the air pressure going up and the damping getting faster. it is also very hot to touch after thease 20 minute runs. I will upgrade to a coiul shock next summer for use in france then change back to the air in the UK |

Overall: This bike is probably the most versatile machine i have ever ridden. It is truley capable of doing anything except racing either XC or DH. Show it a twisty piece of singletrack and it will give you the ride of your life. If you need 1 bike that can handle anything and everything this is it! |
