Strengths:
This bike forgives you for all those mistakes. First real jump I was being towed in by a 4wd on sand, I let go of the rope out of balance and landed all crossed up. The bighit sucked it all up and kicked me straight... bloody miracle... This bike loves it rough so ride it hard and you will be smiling all day long. |

Weaknesses:
I've had people tell me the 24 wheel won't roll as fast as a 26 in a straight line...blah...blah. I'm not a world cup rider so I don't give a toss. As for riding the beast up hill, back in NZ we leave that to the Lycra clad XC riders! |

Overall:
This bike is great, I bought the frame and shock new and built it up. It took too long (with a couple of bike shop f**k ups eg. lacing the back wheel wrong) but got there in the end and it rode pretty well. I decided to send the forks and rear shock to TF Tuned Shox for a service and fine tune - which made a big improvement. I'm really pleased with the end product. A great ride! |
