'VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING'
Strengths:
I suppose it climbs quite well but even in this it hardly inspires.
Weaknesses:
It has been said many times before by those who don’t follow the on-one religion that this bike is a compromise. In being so it fails to do anything particularly well. The cockpit is too stretched out, and the frame is too flexy, especially around the bottom bracket. Due to the flexiness of the frame there is a loss of power almost equivalent to riding a full sus.
Again due to the flex in the frame when you hit rough stuff at speed the handling goes all over the place, an experience on par with getting a tank slapper on a motorbike from 20 years ago.
Overall:
Cheapness does not mean value for money, and if you are buying a complete bike there are much better available from the major manufacturers, it is only when you look at the price of a frame rather than a bike that this appears competitive, but it isn’t because it just isn’t any good (others seem to overcharge when selling just frames).
Despite the fact that the zealots will now want me hung for blasphemy this bike is just plain crap, people seem to have convinced themselves that is great for the price, when it is actually bargain basement junk of the lowest order. It is not good value to buy a frame that now needs replacing because it fails to perform even adequately.
