| 'THEY WERE CHEAP, NOW I'M CHEERFUL' |
Strengths: cartridge hubs for ease of maintenance enough spokes to be strong enough for nearly all road surfaces mavic quality at a bargain price (I paid £125 for the set from Pearsons Cycles) |
Weaknesses: Free hub is a little heavy. not the stiffest wheels out there. |
Overall: I've been riding them 4 months for racing, training and pissing about on. I'm 11 and a bit stone and have had no problems with knocking them out of true. I'd reccomend them as a set of fast training wheels and even race wheels on a budget. For the same kind of price you're only going to get Open pros on Ultegra hubs from a wheelbuilder and these have it for ease of maintenance on the hubs at least. I don't think i'll ride them through the winter as they're too nice to waste on winter roads. |
