Weaknesses: Have to fit a letter "y" and the letter "s" to the leg to make them into "Pikeys"
Always raises a laugh at the trailhead though :-)
The Maxle on the 2005 ones is a bugger to get in and out but on the 2006 ones it is great.
Overall: I was also pissed off with Rock Shock crappy Psylos and Paces crappy RC 41s, got a set of these when I built up the Soul and have a set on the new Blur LT and they are tramping on Fox territory at a better price.
Weaknesses: Crap compression damping, terrible stiction especially when wet
Overall: I have ridden floats, TALAS, 36 TALAS and 36 VANS and pike 454's, they are all light years ahead of Pace.
Paces customer service is ok to be fair but the forks are crap, wallow when you brake and dive. The "launch control" is a stupid unsuccesful idea and knocks the rebound off to easily.
Proper damping and sorting out the stiction problems would be better that some marketing faff about an "intelligent" fork.
Weaknesses: better off with a steel seatpost with no seat on it
Heavy, full of stiction and does not improve the ride. Sold it on ebay and got a cane creek turdbuster, sorry thudbuster which is a better performing seatpost
Overall: Get a thudbuster
At last something me and Dylan Turvey can agree on!!
Strengths: Stiff, look great (even though their brown) excellent adjustability and rock eating abilities. Massive confidence booster.
Weaknesses: None so far, maybe the brown paint if that bothers you.
Overall: I got these on my new S-Works Enduro and they complement it very well indeed. I will update in future on reliability but hope it is as good as the TALAS little brother
Weaknesses: Fox warranty terrible, Mojo genuinely not interested. Had to take to TF Tuned after Mojos attempt at fixing them, was out £80 in postage costs
Overall: It is a shame that to date no manufacturer can make and sell a fork that doesnt require further work to make it good, had similar problems with marz and rshox
