Strengths: Travel, that rear shock and carbon look so sexy. Set up of the rear is easy, eat the trail up. You can drop your saddle right down too.
Weaknesses: Some of the kit you get is a bit cheap eg pedals, chainset. But I did price it up and if you was going to buy it in bits it cost about 3k. So you could say a bit of a bargain ;-) Still £2700 is alot of money.!
Overall: This is a Awesom bike. The way it rides the trails is how can I say it super smooth. For a bike with 165mm travel it climbs the hills just as well as my MC50. Then when you get too the down hill bit's it eats the trail up..! I am finding that I am jumping more stuff on the trails and well it given me bigger balls to do stuff I would of never done before. I have done a endro race on this bike and a long weekend in Scotland plus some long XC ride's (I think the XC riding the MC50 a bit better but only just). This bike has really opened my riding up love it..!
I am putting Value at good as it is a lot of money but like I say if you priced it up it cost around £3000 so really, a near great Value.
Strengths: 6 1/2 inch of rear travel. lockout and traction mode on the rear shock plus power stabilizer. Fox 36 R talas folk with 20mm axle. Hides it waight really well
Weaknesses: None really only got to take it on 2 test rides. I guess one thing you got to dig a bit deeper to get up those hills.
Overall: The 1st test ride was a very muddy day over swinley doing jumps I never do, got covered head to toe in muddy.
2nd time out was Holmbury Hill to see how well it climb and it climb really well a little bit slower but hide it waight really well.. Plus the down hill was so much fun poping over stuff etr etr
I had that much fun I getting a ransom 30... Which I well do a review on that
Strengths: Well made nice and bright, beam has a good throw of light, 3 hours burn time
Weaknesses: 11 hours charge time. A bit heavy to the best, but it helps keep you fit.. Thats about it.
Overall: A very good light, I did have a cateye stadium which gave up(3 years of good service) didn't think I get a light as bright. The beam is a bit more spotty than the cateye but still very good.
Cannot give a high score on reliability as I have just got it and used it once.
Plus allterrain cycles have got them on sale for £165 wear I got my light BARGAIN
