Overall: If like me you where thinking how can I get in another biking Holiday and keep the bike widow happy then this is the answer. In the words of the other half the perfect holiday for us both, me out riding all day and her Sunbathing on the fantastic blue flag beaches with not a union jack short in sight. The trails are fantastic good variety every day and some very very demanding if you clean the Psycho decent your a better rider than me. The GMC run was my favorite about 7k of fun!! It would be excellent value for the accommodation alone not to mention the free drink. Some great bars and restaurants near by with a nice Spanish feel about them (no lager louts) cheers guys.
Strengths: We stayed at Shalet Sherpa. Good location close to town, excellent staff very helpfull, very good food, has its own bar, BBQ on wed nights, Fantastic value for money. Transfers guiding included.
Weaknesses: Some rooms a bit compact but how long do you stay in your room.
Overall: I would highly recomend staying at shalet sherpa HB here for Holidays in Morzine. The staff are excellent if you want to do anything they will organise it or help you. If biking you can get guiding. The food was excellent if going HB you get breakfast afternoon tea with bread and cake and 3 course evening meal with whine. There is the jolly good bar at shalet Sherpa. Transfers are included. It rained for a couple of days when we where there and to say we were covered in mud is an understatment, we got mud everywhere and they did'nt bat an eyelid. We will be staying again next year.
Strengths: very tuneable, very stiff and the 20mm qiuck release maxle. You will end up riding down stuff faster than ever.
Weaknesses: none
Overall: Never mind that these forks represent fantastic value for money they have got to be the best 110-140mm available forks at the moment. With the positive and negative air chambers you can set these forks up to however stiff/plush you want. The U turn is great for adjusting the height you can just do it as you ride along. The lock out can be done on the fly (no need for the remote lever) and the stiffness with the 20mm maxle is noticable.
Cant coment on the reliability yet but so far so good.
