'GREAT BIKE AND VERY GOOD SPEC'
Strengths:
SRAM X9! Found the gears a little strange at first as all the changing is through the thumb - Once I got used to it found them great
Weaknesses:
Brakes have a habit of 'pinging' as the pads vibrate slightly against the rotors. Frame is VERY hard and found the saddle a bit 'firm' - A £25 upgrade on that did the trick
Overall:
Great bike and excellant value for money. A good contender for the £500-£750 price range hardtail

'CLIMBS LIKE A SPITFIRE!'
Strengths:
the bike is light and I find VERY chuckable when your pounding the trails. Its agile and responds well to a bit of abuse. The three set rear sus which is 'adjustable on the fly' means you have a very versatile bike.
Weaknesses:
Really NOT keen on the dual control flappy brake levers/gear shifters. The rear sus also takes a bit of setting up - I've had mine 4 months and I'm still 'playing' with it!
Overall:
An excellant bike. Very pleased with my purchase and thanks to the discount VERY good value if you manage to get a 2005 model

'BRIGHT LIGHT THAT IS VERY COMPACT'
Strengths:
Bright, several flashing options, very small and easy to fit.
Weaknesses:
Not esasy to remove from the bracket. Its easier to remove the fixing (which is only a gloryfied rubber band!) and take the whole light off
Overall:
A good light that is cheap and cheerful works fine on my bike. cheap enough to leave on the bike 24/7 and not have to worry about someone helping themselves!
