Strengths:
Nice frame with all possible brake mounts, mudguard points, cable routes already on it. I've already upgraded to a set of Hope Minis and am well chuffed! The disc brake mounts didn't need facing, and the general component level is good. |

Weaknesses:
Integrated brake/gear levers means that upgrading to hydraulics means replacing the shifters (I got XT). The front derailleur has dumped me on the tarmac a couple of times though. |

Overall:
Good value bike, especially if you are starting out on mtb. Good upgrade possibilites means that you shouldn't have to fork out for a new frame until you want to go lighter. |
