Had to write this to contradict what sounds like a very unreasonable review of these elsewhere on this page! I have been mountain biking for 17 years, and have rideen cranks from more brands than I care to remember! These have proven utterly reliable through the darkest and grittiest winter of riding I have done for years. They have shown absolutely no sign of undue wear, looseness or bolt problems. Maybe the other reviewer here has some maintenance issues causing his problems - you can't expect the most stressed components of your bike to continue to do their job if you neglect to keep stuff clean and well loved in the winter...
Anyhow - I love them, and think they represent good value compared with cheese-ringed Shi*mano cranks my mates have watched rapidly diintegrate for similar money! |
