Science in Sport GO Gel (Orange)

'MAKES YOU GO LIKE SHIT OFF A SHOVEL!'
Strengths:
Makes you go like shit off a shovel!
Weaknesses:
Tastes like shit off a shovel!
Overall:
Works well, however I find the lumps a bit rough at times.

This gel would be a winner if you could buy a "lump free" version.

Manitou M Prep Fork Grease

'TERRIBLE'
Strengths:
Great (if you want to lock your forks out)
Weaknesses:
Causes massive amounts of stiction, so bad I had to get Timmy to strip them and fix them.

Use an alternative lubricant instead and they feel like fox's
Overall:
Dont use this crap it just causes stiction.

The other poeple who have reviewd this must not have and idea of what stiction is!!!

It is a sad reflection of how stupid some people really are. No wonder people like Dave Hinde can stay in business

'AS MUCH USE AS A HANDBRAKE ON A CANOE'
Strengths:
Half inflates tyres quickly, then they go down slowly due to the sticky crap in the cartridge that gunges up the valve.
Weaknesses:
As said above and also lock is a bit tacky.

Spare cartridges are too heavy.
Overall:
Keek, gone back to proper pumps coz they are lighter.

Cane Creek Thudbuster

'FANTASTIC!!!'
Strengths:
Makes a hard tails like a susser, increases traction on technical climbs.
Weaknesses:
Price/weight
Overall:
I got this because I had become used to my sussers and found the hardtail horrible to ride, this clever piece of kit changed all of that. DONT waist money on silly telescopic MTB versions (been there) and spend the extra few quid and you will not be disappointed!. You can adjust the threshold at which it becomes active and also adjust rebound and compression (elastomers included), i am very pleased so far and would recommend this to anyone.

If you want to really finish this fantastic piece of kit off get a crudbuster cover to protect you pivots from muck and uneccessary wear.

'A HEAP OF SHITE'
Strengths:
none
Weaknesses:
Crappy travel adjustment that messes with pivot points hence causes set up problems, every time you change the travel you need to re set sag, even then the bike feels strange.
Overall:
No thanks
