Weaknesses: Destroys presta valves. Quite bulky. Not very efficient.
Overall: A bit pants. It doesn't do presta valves, it just bends the center bit. The lock on mechanism is often stiff and takes a lot of effort to use. It takes ages to pump up a tyre.
Strengths: Good Grip, good durability, good cornering
Weaknesses: A little more expnsive than some that do almost as good a job
Overall: Good set of tyres which will allow you to cover any terrain. Can give them quite a bashing, fairly puncture resistant. Quite durable, not as good as nokians, but then they have a little more grip.
Strengths: Frame and forks. Rides nicely, not just as a jump bike
Weaknesses: Drive chain spec, brakes
Overall: It's reasonably good, currently managing to use it as an all round bike, even three hour rides into the peaks. The brakes are pants though, have already upgraded to hayes hydraulics, the drive chain is below deore, which for the money it cost is not on really, alvio rear mech went in about two months, chain in about 6.
Strengths: Good componentry for the money, fairly light
Weaknesses: The MPH3 brakes aren't great and finding replacement pads is a nightmare. The axel comp fork needs regular servicing. Having only had this bike about 8 months I've had to replace the entire drive chain and am in the proces of buying a new rear wheel. If I had the money would buy new forks as well
Overall: Good entry level bike but if you get serious you'll want something better
