Strengths: New more modern "jump" style frame. better fork, drivetrain than previous kraken. Mechanical disc brakes work well. Womens' version available too.
Weaknesses: Heavier than previous bike.
Overall: Very good value for money bike, 27 speed, mech discs, adjustable fork meaty wheels and tires. You won't get a better bike for £360.
Strengths: well made, rides on your back great. just enough pockets etc to do the job
Weaknesses: price i guess
Overall: seems to be probably the best hydration pack about. i could ask for more pockets or more of this or that but then i'd be better buying a different pack. so if you want a mule sized pack then buy a mule, simple
Weaknesses: had mine on 12 months in all kind of weather/conditions never let me down. what can i say
Overall: well priced 8 speed mech. does what it says on the box. i ride over 100 miles a week, onroad and off road (mainly offroad) and in the 12 months i've had mine had no trouble at all with it, nothing at all. oh and i ride all through the winter too. i always give it a spray of silican lubricant before i go out though.
Overall: i have dmr v8s on my other bike and i can feel any difference in performance. i cleaned the bearings and regreased them before fitting them and they've done a fair few miles in the mud, rain etc. and still work as good as new. the push in end caps should maybe be a screw fit but the dmr's are the same and if anything the wellgo caps are better, certainly neater
